2016 was a massive year for Mark that included (amongst other things) a prestigious APRA award nomination, raising over $30,000 for Cystic Fibrosis with the Big Band Benefit Concert and countless gigs up and down the East Coast of Australia. Now Mark plans to head back into the studio to record more original songs in 2017.
“I am really looking forward to heading back into the studio in the new year,” Mark said.
“2016 was an just top drawer, but I can’t wait to sink my teeth back into recording again”.
Not only will Mark be recording new original tracks in 2017, but there’s a few surprising projects in the pipeline. Although tight-lipped, Wells did say this:
“There’s a real limitless potential of what a song can mean to someone. I want to unlock what’s possible, and that may mean creating an entirely new way of doing things, different to the way I’ve approached it in the past.”
