When a lot of people think solo singer guitarists, they think ballads and low key vibes. When it comes to Mark’s solo style, he’s a one man musical moment maker who will get even the most unlikely guest up dancing. Whilst he can still play spine-tingling versions of mellow classics, Mark can take it up through the gears until he’s in full flight in 3 in 1 band mode, keeping the dance floor jumping all night. (He sings, plays guitar and drums all at the same time!)
Throw any weird and wonderful requests his way – there’s nothing that Mark doesn’t like to play. He just loves great songs and making things as fun, and memorable, as possible.
From classic party staples like “Shake it Off” or “The Way You Make Me Feel”, to acoustic versions of electro-bangers like “Lean On”, there’s no style he won’t take on. Sing-a-longs like “The Horses” get the whole crowd singing, while rock anthems like “Everlong” by the Foo Fighters make you feel it in your gut. Mark loves playing country hits like Johnny Cash’s “Fulsom Prison Blues”, or going 70’s with “Take it Easy”.
The number of wedding, function and repeat bookings Mark receives up to two years in advance is a testament to his talent and his entertaining live show.
